1857, he was married to Mary Bradbury. They lived in Morgan County.On
December 1, 1864, he enlisted at Versailles in the Company E.M.M. as a
private. He was mustered out of the service on December 25, 1864,
according to the Missouri Civil War Records. Around this time, hemarried
to Elizabeth Huffman, affectionately called by the family "Bettie".He
lived and farmed in Morgan County for the rest of his life.
