He married twice. He married Edla of Mecklenburg Wendin. Edla was born about 985. He married Astrid (Inegrid) Queen Sweden 1019 in Uppsala, Uppsala, Sweden. Astrid was born about 979 in Sweden.

Olaf III King of Sweden and Astrid (Inegrid) Queen Sweden had the following children:

3470 i. Anund Jakob³³ was born about 999. Anund died 1050 at age 51. He married Gunhild. Gunhild was born about 1001.

+ 3360 ii. Ingegerda, Princess of Sweden was born about 1001.

Olaf III King of Sweden and Astrid (Inegrid) Queen Sweden had the following children:

3472 iv. Estrid of Sweden was born about 1003. She married St. Olav of Norway 1028. St. was born about 1001.

Olaf III King of Sweden and Edla of Mecklenburg Wendin had the following children:

3473 v. Emund II The Slemme was born about 1005. Emund died 1054/1060 at age 50.
