He married Ada, Princess of Scotland August 28, 1162. Ada, was born about 1146 in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England. Ada, was the daughter of Henry, Prince of Scotland and Ada de Warenne. Ada, died after January 11, 1204 at age 57.

He married Adelheid, Countess of Kleve 1186 in Loosduinen, South Holland, Netherlands. Adelheid, was born about 1167 in Kleve, Rheinland, Prussia. Adelheid, died after 1238 at age unknown.
