2047. Floris IV, Count²⁷ Holland (Willem I, Count²⁸, Floris Florence III,²⁹, Dirk Vi, Count³⁰, Floris II, de³¹) was born in S Gravenhage, Zuid Holland, Neth June 24, 1210. Floris died July 19, 1234 in France, at age 24. His body was interred in Rhijnsburg, Zuid Holland, Neth.

He married Mathilde of Brabant before December 6, 1224. Mathilde was born about 1200 in S Hertogenbos, Noord Brabant, Neth. Mathilde was the daughter of Henry I Duke Brabant and Maud, D Alsace Duchess of Braba. Mathilde died December 21, 1267 at age 67. Her body was interred in Loosduinen, South Holland, Netherlands.

Floris IV, Count Holland and Mathilde of Brabant had the following children:

+ 1881 i. Aleida, Countess of²⁶ Holland was born about 1226.

2048 ii. Willem II, Count Holland was born in S Hertogenbosch, Noord Brabant, Netherlands 1227. Willem died January 28, 1256 in Nr Hoogwoud, Noord Holland, Netherlands, at age 28. He married Elisabeth, Princess of Brunswick January 25, 1252 in Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany. Elisabeth, was born about 1234 in Braunschweig, Germany. Elisabeth, died May 27, 1266 at age 31.

2049 iii. Floris, Count of Holland was born in S Hertogenbos, N Brab, Neth about 1228. Floris, died March 24, 1258 at age 29.

2050 iv. Margaretha, Countess of Holland was born in S Hertogenbos, Noord Brabant, Netherlands about 1230. Margaretha, died March 26, 1277 at age 46. She married Hermann I, Count Henneberg before July 12, 1249. Hermann was born about 1224 in Coburg, Sachsen Coburg G, Thuringia. Hermann died December 18, 1290 at age 66.

2051 v. Machteld, Countess of Holland was born in S Hertogenbos, N Brab, Neth about 1232.
