2046. Marguerite, Comtesse de²⁷ Flandre (Baudouin IX Count²⁸ Flanders, Baldwin VIII²⁹ Hainaut, Baldwin IV³⁰ Hainault, Baldwin III³¹) was born in Valenciennes, Nord, France June 2, 1202. Marguerite, died February 10, 1280 at age 77. Her body was interred in Flines Les Morta, Nord, France.

She married Bouchard de Avesnes March 1212. Bouchard was born about 1182 in Oizy, Namur, Belgium. Bouchard was the son of Jacques de Avesnes and Adelphie de Guise. Bouchard died 1244 at age 62. His body was interred in Clairefontaine, Autelbas, Luxembourg, Belgium. (See Bouchard de Avesnes for the children resulting from this marriage.)
