2024. Marie Countess of²⁷ Ponthieu (William Guillaume III²⁸, Jean I de²⁹, Guy II de³⁰, Guillaume III Duke³¹ Alencon) was born in Aumale, Seine Maritime, France about 1186. Marie died 1251 in Spain, at age 65.

She married Simon de Dammartin about 1212 in Aumale, Seine Maritime, France. Simon was born about 1180 in Spain. Simon was the son of Alberic II, Count Dammartin and Maud de Ponthieu. Simon died 1239 in Castile, Spain, at age 59. (See Simon de Dammartin for the children resulting from this marriage.)
