3041. William I Count³¹ Burgundy (Renaud I Count³² Palatine) was born in Bourgogne, France about 1040. William died November 11, 1087 in France, at age 47.

He married Stephanie, of Barcelona before 1060. Stephanie, was born about 1045 in France. Stephanie, was the daughter of Raimond Berenger III, Barcelona and Maud de Hauteville. Stephanie, died after 1092 at age unknown.

William I Count Burgundy and Stephanie, of Barcelona had the following children:

+ 2950 i. Gisela Gille³⁰ Burgundy Countess of was born about 1060.

+ 2749 ii. Raimond Count of Burgundy was born about 1065.

3042 iii. Stephen Burgundy Count of was born about 1066. Stephen died January 27, 1102 at age 35.
