2019. Berengaria of Leon²⁹ (Alphonso IX King of²⁷ Leon, Ferdinand II, King of²⁸, Alfonso VII, King of²⁹ Castile galicia , Raimond Count of³⁰ Burgundy, William I Count³¹, Renaud I Count³² Palatine) was born in Leon, Spain about 1193.

She married Jean I de Brienne King Jerusalem 1222. Jean was born about 1191 in Brienne. Jean died 1237 at age 46. (See Jean I de Brienne King Jerusalem for the children resulting from this marriage.)
