2018. Alphonso IX King of²⁷ Leon (Ferdinand II, King of²⁸, Alfonso VII, King of²⁹ Castile galicia , Raimond Count of³⁰ Burgundy, William I Count³¹, Renaud I Count³² Palatine) was born in Leon, Spain 1173. Alphonso died September 23, 1230 in Castile, Spain, at age 57.

He married Berengaria Queen of Leon castile 1197 in Spain. Berengaria was born 1181 in Castile, Spain. Berengaria was the daughter of Alfonso VIII King of Castile and Eleanor England Queen of Castile. Berengaria died 1245 in Castile, Spain, at age 64.

Alphonso IX King of Leon and Berengaria Queen of Leon castile had the following children:
