2171. Thomas I Count²⁸ Savoy (Humbert III Count²⁹, Amadeo III Count³⁰, Humbert de³¹ Maurienne) was born in Carbonierres, Savoy, France March 20, 1177. Thomas died January 20, 1233 in Aosta, Piedmont, Italy, at age 55.

He married Beatrice Margaret Geneva May 1195. Beatrice was born about 1180 in France. Beatrice was the daughter of William I Geneva Count of and Agnes Savoy Countess of. Beatrice died April 8, 1257 in Pierre Chatel, Isere, France, at age 76.

Thomas I Count Savoy and Beatrice Margaret Geneva had the following children:

2172 i. Amadeo IV Count²⁷ Savoy was born in Savoy, France 1197. Amadeo died June 24, 1253 at age 55. He married twice. He married Ana of Burgundy. Ana was born 1192. Ana died 1243 at age 51. He married Marguerite de Burgundy 1223. Marguerite was born about 1199. Marguerite died 1242 at age 43.

+ 1979 ii. Beatrice, Countess of Savoy was born about 1201.
