1982. Joan de²⁷ Stuteville (Nicholas de²⁸) was born in Thetford, Norfolk, England about 1220. Joan died 1276 in Cottingham, Yorkshire, England, at age 56.

She married twice. She married Hugh Wake before May 29, 1229 in Cottingham, Yorkshire, England. Hugh was born about 1212 in Blisworth, North Hampshire, England. Hugh was the son of Baldwin Wake and Isabel de Briwere. Hugh died 1241 in England, at age 29. She married Sir Hugh Bigod about 1244. Hugh was born about 1216 in Thetford, Norfolk, Engl. Hugh was the son of Hugh Bigod 3rd Earl Norfolk and Maud Marshall. Hugh died November 1266 at age 50.

Sir Hugh Bigod and Joan de Stuteville had the following children:

1983 i. Roger²⁶ Bigod 5th Earl was born in Thetford, Norfolk, Eng. Roger died before December 6, 1306 at age unknown. He married twice. He married Alice de Avennes. He married an unknown person.

He was christened in Framlingham, Suffolk, Eng.

1984 ii. Sir John Le Bigod was born in Stockton, Norfolk, Eng Of Framlingh, Suffolk about 1250. John died March 18, 1305 at age 54.

1985 iii. Ralph Le Bigod was born in Thetford, Norfolk, Eng, England about 1252. He married Berta de Ferrers about 1282. Berta was born about 1256 in Thetford, Norfolkshire, England. Berta was the daughter of William de Ferrers and Agnes de Meschines.
