1207. Richard¹⁷ Samwell Esq (John¹⁸, James¹⁹) was born in Edgecote, Northamptonshire, England about 1486. Richard died May 3, 1519 in England, at age 32.

He married Anna Amy Giffard. Anna was born about 1484 in Twyford, Buckinghamshire, England, Eng. Anna was the daughter of Thomas Giffard and Jane Joan Langston.

Richard Samwell Esq and Anna Amy Giffard had the following child:
