636. Thomas¹¹ Adgate⁽⁷⁴²⁾ was born in England 1620. Thomas died July 21, 1707 in Norwich, New London, CT, at age 87.⁽⁷⁴³⁾

He married twice. He married (unknown) circa 1650. She died circa 1655 at age unknown. He married Mary Marvin 1660. Mary was born in England. Mary⁽⁷⁴⁴⁾ was the daughter of Matthew Marvin and Elizabeth Gregory. Mary died March 29, 1713/1714 in Norwich, New London, CT, at age unknown. Mary immigrated to April 18, 1635.

He was a Deacon in Reverend Fitch's church, and it is probable that he held that office for over 50 years. He was a Norwich town officer in 1676, 1679, 1680, 1682, 1684, and 1686 (History of Norwich p. 84). He served on Norwich's court of commission, which tried all cases to 40 shillings, starting in 1662 (p. 86).

637 i. Hannah¹⁰ Adgate⁽⁷⁴⁵⁾ was born in Norwich, New London, CT October 6, 1653.⁽⁷⁴⁶⁾ She married Samuel Lathrop.⁽⁷⁴⁷⁾

Thomas Adgate and Mary Marvin had the following children:

638 ii. Abigaill Adgate⁽⁷⁴⁸⁾ was born in Norwich, New London, CT August 1661. She married Daniel Tracy.⁽⁷⁴⁹⁾

+ 452 iii. Sarah Adgate was born January 1663/1664.

639 iv. Rebeckah Adgate⁽⁷⁵⁰⁾ was born in Norwich, New London, CT June 1666. She married Joseph Huntington.⁽⁷⁵¹⁾

640 v. Thomas Adgate⁽⁷⁵²⁾ was born in Norwich, New London, CT March 1669/1670. Thomas died December 10, 1760 in Norwich, New London, CT, at age 91. He married Ruth Brewster June 15, 1692 in Norwich, New London, CT.⁽⁷⁵³⁾ Ruth was born September 16, 1671 in Norwich, New London, CT. Ruth was the daughter of Benjamin Brewster and Anne Darte. Ruth died August 22, 1734 in Norwich, New London, CT, at age 62.⁽⁷⁵⁴⁾ Like his father, he was a deacon of the church, holding office for forty-two years.
