37. Ethel M.⁴ Keiffer (Charles W.⁵ Labau)⁽¹⁷⁾ was born in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio September 14, 1883. Ethel died February 25, 1911 in Ohio, at age 27.⁽¹⁸⁾

She married James Albert Post August 19, 1903 in Geauga County, Ohio.⁽¹⁹⁾ James was born October 4, 1881 in Chester, OH. James was the son of Walter Post and Orsa Jane Lander. James died October 1, 1976 at age 94. He resided 8564 Cottrell, in Chesterland, OH 1956-1976. James was employed at State Road Department as a Construction Engineer in Ohio -November 1960.⁽²⁰⁾ From to the Times Leader newspaper article in 1971: A construction engineer for the state highway department, Mr. Post did not retire until he was "one month past 79. I wouldn't have retired then" he brumbled good-naturedly, "except we had a Democratic governor instead of a Republican." (See James Albert Post for the children resulting from this marriage.) Her parents were French, who had come to the U.S. before her birth. Later, they returned to France, and five month old Ethel was adopted by the Keiffer family. Her parents surname was Labieu, but little more of them is known.
