1742. Charles Count of²⁵ Valois (Philippe III King of²⁶ France, Louis IX King of²⁷) was born in Fontainebleau, Seine Et Marne, France March 12, 1270. Charles died December 16, 1325 at age 55.

He married three times. He married Marguerite, Princess of Sicily August 16, 1290 in France. Marguerite, was born about 1274 in Naples, Sicily. Marguerite, was the daughter of Carlo II King of Naples and Maria, Princess of Hungary. Marguerite, died December 31, 1299 at age 25. He married Catherine de Courtenay February 8, 1301. Catherine was born about 1276 in Courtenay, Loiret, France. He married Mahaud de Chatillon June 1308. Mahaud was born about 1278 in Chatillon, Seine, France.

Charles Count of Valois and Marguerite, Princess of Sicily had the following children:

1743 i. Isabel de²⁴ Valois was born in Valois, France 1293. Isabel died 1309 at age 16.

1744 ii. Philippe VI King of France was born in Valois, France 1293. Philippe died August 22, 1350 in Nogent Le Rotrou, France, at age 57. His body was interred in St Denis. He married Jeanne de Bourgogne May 19, 1328 in Fontainebleau, Seine Et Marne, France. Jeanne was born 1294 in Bourgogne, France. Jeanne was the daughter of Robert II Duke Bourgogne and Agnes Princess of France. Jeanne died September 12, 1348 in Paris, Seine, France, at age 54. Her body was interred in St Denis, Paris, Seine, France.

+ 1601 iii. Jeanne de Valois Hainault was born about 1294/1295.

Charles Count of Valois and Mahaud de Chatillon had the following child:

1745 iv. Isabelle de Valois was born about 1318.
