1865. Ferdinand III King of²⁶ Castile (Alphonso IX King of²⁷ Leon, Ferdinand II, King of²⁸, Alfonso VII, King of²⁹ Castile galicia , Raimond Count of³⁰ Burgundy, William I Count³¹, Renaud I Count³² Palatine) was born in Castile, Spain 1191/1198. Ferdinand died May 30, 1252 in Castile, Spain, at age 59.

He married twice. He married Beatrice Princess of Germany before 1228. Beatrice was born about 1193. Beatrice was the daughter of Philipp II Emperor Germany and Irini Maria Angelina EmpressofGermany. Beatrice died 1234 at age 41. He married Joana de Dammartin Countess 1237 in Castile, Spain. Joana was born after 1208 in Castile, Spain. Joana was the daughter of Simon de Dammartin and Marie Countess of Ponthieu. Joana died 1279 at age 70.

Ferdinand III King of Castile and Beatrice Princess of Germany had the following child:

1866 i. Alfonso X, King of²⁵ Castile was born 1228. Alfonso died 1284 at age 56. He married twice. He married Maria de Guzman Guillen. Maria was born about 1238. Maria died 1262 at age 24. He married Violante Princess of Aragon about 1250. Violante was born about 1232. Violante was the daughter of Jaime I, King of Aragon and Jolan, Princess of Hungary. Violante died 1264 at age 32.

Ferdinand III King of Castile and Joana de Dammartin Countess had the following child:

+ 1718 ii. Leonor Princess of Castile was born 1244.
