Empress Matilda

2374. Matilda Maud²⁹ England Empress (King Henry I of³⁰, William I The³¹) was born in London, Middlesex, England before August 5, 1102. Matilda died September 10, 1169 in Notre Dame, Paris, Seine, France, at age 67. Her body was interred in Bec Abbey, Le Bec Hellouin, Eure, France.

She married twice. She married Heinrich V Emperor Germany January 07, 1114 in Mainz, Rheinhessen, Hesse Darmstadt, Prussia. Heinrich was born August 11, 1081 in Germany. Heinrich died May 22, 1125/1126 in Utrect, Utrect, The Netherlands, at age 44. She married Geoffrey V Plantagenet Count of Anjou and Maine May 22, 1127 in Le Mans, Sarthe, France. Geoffrey was born August 24, 1113 in Anjou, France. Geoffrey was the son of Foulques V Le Anjou King of Jerusalem and Ermengarde Ermentrude Du Maine Countess of Anjo. Geoffrey died September 7, 1151 in Chateau, Eure Et Loir, France, at age 38.
