2161. Eleanor²⁸ England Queen of Castile (Henry II King of²⁸, Geoffrey V²⁹ Plantagenet, Foulques V Le³⁰ Anjou, Foulques IV Count³¹) was born in Falaise, Calvados, France October 13, 1162. Eleanor died October 31, 1214 in Burgos, Spain, at age 52. Her body was interred in Huelgas, Burgos, Spain.

She married Alfonso VIII King of Castile September 22, 1177 in Burgos, Spain. Alfonso was born November 11, 1155 in Castile, Spain. Alfonso was the son of Sancho III, King of Castile and Blanche Princess of Navarra. Alfonso died October 6, 1214 in Huelgas, Burgos, Spain, at age 58. His body was interred in Huelgas, Burgos, Spain.
