1687. Sir John²⁵ Wake (Baldwin²⁶, Hugh²⁷, Baldwin²⁸, Baldwin²⁹, Hugh³⁰, Geoffrey³¹ Wac) was born in Blisworth, North Hampshire, England about 1271. John died before June 1300 in England, at age unknown.

He married Joan FitzBernard before September 24, 1291 in Kingsdown, Kent, England. Joan was born about 1273 in Blisworth, North Hampshire, England. Joan was the daughter of John FitzBarnard Sir. Joan died 1309 at age 36.

Sir John Wake and Joan FitzBernard had the following children:

1688 i. John²⁴ Wake was born in Blisworth, Northampton, England about 1294.

1689 ii. Baron Thomas Wake 2nd Baron was born in Liddell, Cumberland, England about March 20, 1297/1298. Baron died May 21, 1349 at age 51. He married Blanche Plantagenet before October 9, 1318 in Stevington, Bedfordshire, England. Blanche was born about 1307 in Stevington, Bedfordshire, England. Blanche was the daughter of Henry Plantagenet Earl of Lancaster and Maud Chaworth. She was christened before July 12, 1380.

+ 1570 iii. Lady Margaret Wake Countess of Kent was born about 1299.
