508. Thomas¹¹ Bliss was born in Okehampton, Belston, Devon, England circa 1580.⁽⁵⁴¹⁾ Thomas died 1650 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, at age 70.

He married Margaret Hulins circa 1612 in England. Margaret was born circa 1595 in Rodborough, Gloucestershire, England.⁽⁵⁴²⁾ Margaret was the daughter of John Hulins and Margaret (unknown). Margaret died August 28, 1684 in Springfield, MA, at age 89.⁽⁵⁴³⁾

Conflicting evidence states that Thomas was born circa 1590 in Gloucestershire, England.⁽⁵⁴⁴⁾ Thomas's will was probated February 14, 1650/1651 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.⁽⁵⁴⁵⁾ His name, as well as his son's, appears on the Hartford founders monument at Gold and Main Streets. They both had land there as early as 1640, with Senior having had about 58 acres.

511 iii. Mary Bliss. She married Joseph Parsons 26 November 1646.

513 v. Hester Bliss. She married Edward Foster.

514 vi. Nathaniel Bliss⁽⁵⁴⁶⁾ was born in England 1621. Nathaniel died November 8, 1654 in Springfield, MA, at age 33. He married Catherine Chapin November 26, 1646 in Springfield, MA.⁽⁵⁴⁷⁾ Catherine was born circa 1630 in Springfield, MA. (Additional notes for Catherine Chapin⁽⁵⁴⁸⁾) Catherine died February 4, 1712/1713 at age 81.

515 vii. Samuel Bliss was born in England 1624. Samuel died 23 March 1720 in Springfield, MA, at age 95. He married Mary Leonard 10 November 1655 in Springfield, MA.

516 viii. Sarah Bliss was born Boston Mount 1635/6. She married John Scott 20 July 1659 in Springfield, MA.

517 ix. Elizabeth Bliss was born Boston Mount ca 1637. She married Miles Morgan 15 February 1670.

518 x. Hannah Bliss was born 1639. Hannah died 25 January 1660 at age 20.

519 xi. John Bliss was born in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut 1640. John died 10 September 1702 at age 62.

+ 380 xii. Margaret Bliss was born November 10, 1649.
