Obituary for John James Arnot

John Arnot, born London, England, October 28, 1931, died in Arlington, Washington on January 27,1911. He was aged 80 years and nine months. The funeral service was held at Moll's parlor on Sunday, January 29, at 2pm, being conducted by Rev. H.W. Johnson. The deceased had been a resident of Massachusetts for 51 years, his wife dying 8 years ago. He came to this state four years ago and has made his home with his eldest son, J.J. Arnot Jr. of Rolling Bay. At the time of death, he was visiting with his granddaughter, Mrs. R.C. Wesson and Mrs. Hugh Murdock of this place. He leaves two sons, John J. and William D., the latter residing in Seattle; also two daughters Mrs. J.M. Perry, Athol, MA; and Mrs. W.H. Ryder, Fitchburg, MA. Burial occurred at Trafton Cemetery beside his little grandson, who died a few weeks ago.
