2. John James ARNOT [image] (David ) was born on 26 Oct 1831 in London, England. He died on 28 Jan 1911 in Trafton WA and was buried in Trafton, WA. Going by the birth dates and places of the children, John James ARNOT came to North America between March of 1857 and March of 1859 (ship name and port of entry are yet unknown).

An attempt was made to locate the grave of John James Sr. recently without any luck. Not much of the Town of Trafton remains and the Trafton Cemetery is now on private property. The cemetery is unforunatley so overgrown with blackberries and stuff that a search was impossible. It is not known if a marker was ever placed in the cemetery for John James.

John married Jane Catherine COHEN [image], daughter of John COHEN and Margaret THOMPSON. Jane was born ? 1829. She died on 26 Nov 1901 in Fitchburgh, Massachusetts and was buried in Fitchburgh, Mass (Forest Hill Cemetary).
